I’m considering setting up a separate Tumblr covering sexism in the games industry, from the media to development to the content of the games themselves. I have a lot to say on the subject, a lot of thoughts and opinions, and it putting them on the GJAIF blogs feels a little off.

That being said, Go Make Me a Sandwich does a better job of covering sexism in the industry than I ever could, so I don’t know. Thoughts?

Trying to promote feminism and equality of the sexes within the games industry is like trying to hand out broccoli at a children’s birthday party: they won’t have it no matter how much you say it’s good for them.

I know older men in comedy who can barely feed and clean themselves, and they still work. The women, though, they’re all “crazy.” I have a suspicion - and hear me out, because this is a rough one - that the definition of “crazy” in show business is a woman who keeps talking even after no one wants to fuck her anymore.

I’d argue that this also applies for the games industry.
